Aruba Networks Wireless WAN is used by many of our esteemed customers to meet multiple business objectives including providing seamless wireless access with an eye on access control and secure data transfer. The product is known for its reliability, stability, and ease of use. The fully functional cloud-enabled solution is easy to implement and meets most of the organization's requirements for providing connectivity to its employees as well as guests using a defined mechanism.
  • Implementation is straight-forward.
  • Ease of administration is superb.
  • Custom roles based on access restrictions can be defined.
  • Centralized management for both employees as well as guest registrants.
  • Licensing is slightly complicated and not bundled, separate costs for cloud controller is a no-no.
  • UI needs an uplift.
  • Coverage is good but can be better.
Aruba Networks Wireless WAN is an excellent solution for small to medium-sized implementation, especially on-premise. We implemented an Aruba Networks Wireless WAN solution in some branches in the state to promote wireless internet access in place of wired network due to infrastructure, price and labor issues to make the structured cabling. The Aruba Networks Wireless WAN solution consisted of a cloud controller and 802.11ac wave 2 access points installed on-site to provide internet to employees on the private network and a second guest network with an authentication and registration portal for visitors. The connectivity problem was solved with the Aruba WLAN solution and easy management with the cloud.
  • It has cloud management for administration of access points remotely.
  • Automatic replication of custom settings to access points.
  • Solution with WIFI 5 and WIFI 6 hotspots.
  • They are powered by POE or power injector.
  • Compact access points.
  • The cloud management service with controller and software has a monthly cost
  • Only the appliance controller solution licenses are perpetual.
In our scenario, we chose to dispense with the traditional wired network and use only the wireless network for internet access. The solution works perfectly as it is compatible with 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz radios and a throughput of 1.2Gbps of data traffic. Aruba Networks Wireless WAN access points have technologies that avoid noise and interference and better direct the internet signal to the user. The prices are competitive and lower than some of the WiFi market leaders. It can be used in any corporate setting.
  • Beamforming technology to direct a stronger signal to customers avoiding noise.
  • Access points with gigabit ethernet port and 802.11ax technology (WIFI 6).
  • Technology to avoid interference in 2.4Ghz.
  • GUI interface to manage all access points, create alarms, filter and block traffic, create and analyze statistics with reports.
  • It has brought more expertise and flexibility in accessing wireless internet more securely.
  • Return on investment in the short and medium term.
  • Wireless Internet without problems and errors.
